CEGER is the organisation for Information and Communication Technology of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, with responsibility for supporting the governance of Government electronic domains, with a strategic focus on electronic security, communication and advanced systems in support of Government decision-making.

Internationalization

One of the strategic axes of CEGER actions is the dynamics of international technological cooperation projects.

Technological cooperation has boosted the international technology transfer and acquisition of know-how and tech

nological skills which have greatly enhanced and strengthened the areas of competence and leadership CEGER.

International cooperation has been spurred both in the area of establishing technological cooperation with the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries, and also in promoting and coordinating international projects for research and technological development at European and World level.
